At the end of the long rows of thrones is the Tabernacle with a place for the Scriptures and a place for the Sacraments. The Sanctuary of the Word in the Domus Galilaea has 80 thrones in it. The Sanctuary of the Word is a place for deep and prolonged study of the scriptures.
